Hi, I’m Jose — the owner of Chicago Barstools & Chairs.

What started as sourcing great seating deals quickly turned into something bigger: helping people furnish their homes with high-quality pieces without paying retail prices.

I specialize in open-box barstools, counter stools, dining chairs, and select lighting — all carefully inspected and prepared before they ever reach a customer.

Behind the scenes, I also work with my assistant, Stiffany, who helps keep our inventory organized and ensures listings stay updated so customers can easily browse what’s currently available.

How It Works

Most of our inventory comes from customer returns and overstock from major retailers like:

  • Amazon

  • Target

Every item is:

• Inspected
• Assembled when needed
• Cleaned and ready for pickup
• Honestly described

If there’s ever a small flaw, we mention it. No surprises.

Why Appointment-Only?

We operate out of the Des Plaines area near O’Hare Airport.

Rather than a traditional storefront, we run by appointment. That allows us to:
